This document is designed to provide instructors with step-by-step instructions on how to copy materials over from course to course in Desire2Learn (D2L).
This document is relevant for instructors who:
Live Courses
Live courses will be created 30 days prior to the course start date, providing the instructor or their designated school/department contact has notified student records to let them know who will be using D2L (please see D2L process for more information).
Students will be enrolled in the live course seven days before the start date of the course. While students are enrolled 7 days prior to the satrt date, they will not be able to access your course until the actual start date of your course.
Copying Course Components
To ensure students will be able to access your materials and activities, you will need to utilize the Copy Course Components tool in Desire2Learn. The Copy Course Components will enable you to copy materials to and from any courses you have access to in D2L.
If you have any questions or concerns related to copying course components, please contact the Distributed Education Support Team at desupport@camosun.bc.ca
