Assignment upload confirmation in the D2L Dropbox
If you are using the D2L Dropbox for student assignments, you may want to remind your students that when they submit an assignment to the dropbox, they will be shown a confirmation that their file has been uploaded successfully.
They will also get a confirmation email from D2L saying their submission has been accepted. If they DO NOT get this confirmation email, there is a good chance that their submissions has not been accepted by the Dropbox, and they should go back into the Dropbox to confirm whether or not their assignment has been uploaded correctly.
When they go back into the folder, they should see a link in the Submissions column:
Clicking this link will take the students into their Dropbox Submission History, where they should see a confirmation that their file has been uploaded successfully to the Dropbox.
If there is no confirmation here, then the file has not been uploaded and the student should either try again, or contact you as soon as possible to rectify the problem, or make alternative arrangements for their assignment submission.
