What faculty need to know
Desire2Learn is integrated with Colleague, the student record system at Camosun. Tasks such as creating D2L course shells and managing student enrollment in D2L courses is controlled by Colleague. Because of the integration, it is important to keep Student Records updated with the status of your course and students. Student Records contact information (requires login to intranet)
What happens each night?
Each night Colleague sends new information to Desire2Learn. In order for this to work correctly, faculty must keep Student Records up to date with any changes to your D2L courses.

Students enrolled in courses that begin within the next 7 days are added to the courses.
Students who are enrolled in courses that begin in the next 7 days are emailed username and password information. At this point, students can log on to D2L, but they cannot access your course until the actual start date of the course.
Students who are late registrants or have been added by Student Services to a course currently underway are uploaded to D2L.
Students who have been unenrolled in Colleague by Student Records are removed from D2L courses.
